I am notorious for testing the boundaries between what is workwear and what is plainly
off duty dressing. Case in point: flashing a little midriff in what would otherwise be a
perfectly respectable and straightforward office-worthy outfit. Of course, a simple half-tuck
of the shirt would have worked just fine here, but my current obsession with that triangular
hint of midriff seems to overtake any instinct towards modesty of late. Perhaps it's the warmer
weather, or perhaps my long-time love of everything oversized requires a flash of flesh
to counteract that old potato sack effect. Either way, my current style philosophy seems
centred on the notion of relaxed sophistication, of undone coordination. Because when the
mind is working in overdrive, it's nice to feel a little more relaxed everywhere else.

Taking advantage of the trans-seasonal weather patterns and mixing up my day-to-day wear a bit.
Oversized shirts tucked (okay, scrunched) into sleek leather leggings, topped off with draped
masculine blazers and ultra-luxe accessories. Offsetting the oversized with the fitted, the masculine
with the feminine, the luxe with the economical. Life is a balancing act, with the art of getting
dressed for the day being no exception. At least that part can be a little more fun than others
though, right?

Clean lines and crisp white layering: is there any better way to welcome spring?
And for my friends in the northern hemisphere - this would look great with a
leather biker jacket or boyfriend blazer, no? I think yes.
